Did you get an email from someone in  Affrican looking for help getting money out of their country?

Did they promise you a large percentage of money they have stuck in their country that they can easily transfer out if only they had a real person with an account number outside their country?

If so, it is probably a scam where the person sending the email have little or no money at all.  Most probably the only goal is to extract money from your account once you turn over your account information.  Do you REALLY believe you would get rich with so little risk?  Don't be fooled!
