This is our latest survey of the APY interest rates paid for certificates of deposit. You can often get higher than advertised rates at your local branch if you do your homework. Print out some of the advertisement of rates advertised on your bank's competing web sites so you have proof. We often get better than advertised rates if we bring in our own rate sheet survey, especially if it keeps us from taking our money from a renewing CD to another bank.
